Children's Sunday School

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6)

 

There is a total of between 15 and 20 students in the 3 classes of the Children's Sunday School - Nursery, Lower and Upper Primary level. We continue to use materials from the Regular Baptist Press of Australia for teaching and homework. Weekly homework is intended to reinforce the lessons learnt in the class.

Every first Sunday of the month, Lim Hai Seng teaches the combined Sunday School using multimedia and Sketch & Tell.

Thank God we have had opportunities to attend Sunday School Teacher Training Sessions, which were conducted by Mrs Alice Chan and Mrs Patricia Vandermey.

We thank sister Anita Meyale for her music ministry among the children. Anita taught the children many new hymns and prepared presentations to mark special occasions of the Church. Both the children and the congregation are blessed through her faithful service. Singspiration in the Sunday School is also made more interesting by the attractive murals designed by sister Asha Meyale.

May the Lord of harvest raise more parents to participate in this vital teaching ministry and be more involved with our young ones in the Church.
