"Hitherto hath the LORD helped us" (1 Samuel 7:12b)

Ebenezer Bible-Presbyterian Church was incorporated on 1st October 1999. We lift our hearts to thank God for His grace and loving kindness over the past years.

Without a church building, a resident pastor or a full-time staff, we have always operated in the position of weakness. As we reflect on the past years, our hearts are filled with gratitude for Jehovah's Shama, for truly He was there for us yesterday, He is here with us today and He will be with us tomorrow. It is by His grace and mercy that He provided for us with a community hall and enabled us to acquire a parsonage to be used for Bible Study, Prayer Meetings, Youth Fellowship and accommodation of visiting ministers. The Joy of the Lord is our Strength and His Strength is made perfect in our weakness.

We can only depend on the strength of God in our service. We are grateful to Him for His all sufficient, comforting and sustaining grace from day to day. We press on knowing that we can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth us. With this assurance, we have continued actively in various ministries and work for the Lord.

Mission trips to Cambodia, Thailand & Malaysia were undertaken by members of Ebenezer. Instead of just being senders there will be goers. It is our earnest prayer that God will bestow His special wisdom and grace on this Mission work and more will come forward to participate in the call of the Great Commission.

Ebenezer will endeavour to scale new heights in our walk and in our service to the Lord, as we "press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:14).

Finally, Ebenezer is the Work of God, can only exist for the Master's Will and for His Honour and Glory. Please pray that we not be distracted by man-made lights but focus on the Light of the world. May we also learn to be still before God and to draw strength from the Gospel as we strive to live in His presence, being mindful everyday that Jehovah Jireh shall be there to supply our needs according to His riches in Glory by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Amen.
